Pineapple Dragon Fruit Smoothie

Why I made this smoothie:
I was looking for sometime to spice up my daily green smoothie and thought dragon fruit was the perfect addition. Dragonfruit is full of fiber and magnesium and goes well  with citrus flavors, hence the pineapple, lemon, and lime additions. 

Pineapple Dragon Fruit Smoothie (Dragon Fruit, Pineapple, Kale, Ginger)
Serving Size: 16oz smoothie
  • 1/2 cup of chard
  • 1/2 cup of romaine
  • 1/2 cup of Dragon Fruit
  • 1 large cucumber (or two small Persian cucumbers)
  • 1/2 cup of pineapple (two large slices) ** try substituting 1/2 mango 
  • 1/4 cup of cilantro
  • 1/2 lemon, squeezed
  • 1/2 lime, squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon of ginger (1/2 inch piece)
  • 1 cup of coconut water ​
