This is one of my sweeter smoothie recipes that I make for 2 year- old niece. (Check out her cute little face! I melt every time!).
I'm still trying to slowly integrate her into veggie smoothies. My brother and his wife are really good about getting her to drink them smoothies with them. They always give her 3-4 0z or so when they drink theirs (start them young!)
That beings said, she still hasn't adjusted to my 80/20 veggie to fruit ratio, which tends to be less sweet and an acquired taste. So when I make her a smoothie (and newer smoothie goers), I tend switch up the recipe to make it sweeter. Using almond milk also tends to make smoothies sweeter. I also enjoy sweeter smoothies when I am looking to fulfill my sweet cravings and need to put the chocolate down :-)

Who am I and do why write this blog? Each time I ask myself that question, I find that I have so much more to learn and discover. "Who am I" is an ongoing process, and just when we think we've figured it out, life has its way of throwing us a ton of curve balls-but that's why its called a journey.
