Connector. Implementer. Systems Builder.
Hi, I'm Alia Peera!
Yes, it’s true — I’ve often been described as a "yogi who sweats the details." It fits, because I believe that people and process must work hand-in-hand to drive meaningful change.
Presence and conscious leadership aren’t just ideals — they’re the foundation for how I approach every project and partnership.
Throughout my career, I have worked at the intersection of equity, leadership, and organizational sustainability — supporting nonprofits and education partners to align strategy, systems, and people.
As the founder of Kapwa Partners, LLC, my consulting practice is anchored in the belief that lasting impact grows from strong, human-centered leadership, healthy cultures, and systems and operations that sustain people as much as they deliver results.
Kapwa, a Tagalog concept meaning shared humanity, reflects what I believe at my core: that change happens most powerfully in relationship, through connection, care, and community.
I bring over 20 years of experience in partnership development, operations, and systems building, with a focus on designing structures that foster collaboration, accountability, and trust. As a bridge-builder and connector, I specialize in bringing people together to do the work with equal measures of clarity and compassion. With a strong eye for systems, I excel at navigating ambiguity, designing processes that drive operational excellence, and ensuring that strategy is not only envisioned but also implemented with precision.
A consistent throughline in my work is cultivating environments where both youth and adults can expand their potential. I design and facilitate equity-driven leadership development, team culture-building, and values-centered partnership strategies that put people and relationships at the center. As a leader with strong project management skills, I thrive in guiding cross-functional teams, aligning people and processes, and ensuring results are achieved while sustaining care for the humans doing the work.
At the same time, I know from experience that sustainability requires more than strategy. Yoga, mindfulness, and workplace well-being have been central to my own journey, grounding me in presence and resilience. I bring these practices into my professional work to help individuals and teams sustain themselves — ensuring that equity, compassion, and wellness remain core to driving meaningful change.
